Gender-Based Violence Survey

EmilyTest are a Scottish charity focused on improving gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, intervention and support at colleges and universities.
Several Scottish colleges and universities include work on gender-based violence as part of their Student Mental Health Agreement work, supporting students experiencing gender-based violence through prevention, intervention, and support. Institutions work with specialist organisations such as EmilyTest to develop this work.
EmilyTest have launched a survey to better understand the experiences of students, recent graduates and staff in colleges and universities across Scotland, with the aim of strengthening the evidence base for change and help create safer, more supportive learning environments for everyone.
Staff members, students or recent graduates (18+) from a Scottish college or university, are invited to complete this survey anonymously. This survey is not just for women – responses are welcome from men and LGBTQIA* staff and students too.
Please note that this survey explicitly discusses gender-based violence and connected issues such as mental health. Please only proceed if you are comfortable to do so. Whether or not you choose to proceed, you can find a list of organisations who can support you here.
