ScotSMART research: student mental health support
ScotSMART is a research network for student mental health in Scotland funded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
They are trying to find out what mental health and/or wellbeing interventions are offered within Scottish Higher Education Institutions. By intervention, they mean any event(s) or action taken to promote the positive mental health and wellbeing of students.
For example: wellbeing walks, mental health first aid training or courses on mental health or wellbeing, or to support those with poor mental health or wellbeing such as the student support services, counselling, partnerships with mental health organizations to name a few.
They are requesting that the relevant staff in Scottish Universities complete the survey. This can be multiple individuals across various directorates, departments, or teams depending on the interventions offered.
There is no limit on the number of responses per institution. They are looking to hear from those in the Learning and Teaching Directorates as well as those responsible for Student Support.
