Borders College
At Borders College, the Student Services Team offer in person and online support for those studying at Borders College.
What Support is Available?
- 1-2-1 support with student advisors
- Wellbeing self-referral and support
- Access to Togetherall
- Free period products
- Active campus coordinator activities
- Wellbeing information and advice on the Student Portal
- Access to financial support including lunch food parcels, supermarket vouchers, the Campus Pantry and hardship/discretionary funding.
- Support drop-ins and wellbeing workshops
- Events and activities to raise awareness of the support available to students within the local community
- Learning support for a wide range of health conditions, learning difficulties and disabilities
- Dedicated support for students who are care experienced, estranged or have caring responsibilities.
The Students’ Association hosts and supports a wide variety of clubs, groups and societies which promote a student community and sense of togetherness. For more information contact bcsa@borderscollege.ac.uk.
The Student Support team is based in the ‘Student Advice Centre’ in the main entrance/reception area on our Galashiels campus.
