Think Positive is committed to ensuring digital accessibility of the Think Positive Hub for all users. We are making continuous improvements to our user experience for all users and applying relevant accessibility standards as part of our processes.
The Think Positive Hub is reviewed on a monthly basis using the Accessible Web RAMP tool.
We know some parts of the Think Positive Hub are not fully accessible and are aware of the following inaccessible elements of the Think Positive Hub:
- Insufficient color contrast of buttons
- Inaccessible name to link in figure
- No alt text in some images
We are currently undertaking work on the Think Positive Hub and plan to action the above inaccessible elements by December 2024.
Web Standards
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is a set of standards that must be adhered to in order to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities. There are 3 defined levels of conformance: A, AA and AAA.
The Think Positive Hub has been designed in line with WCAG 1.0 guidelines, aiming to meet all level AA checkpoints, at a minimum and is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2.
A central aspect of the accessibility guidelines is compliance with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) web standards. The Think Positive Hub is written in valid HTML5 and CSS. This standards-compliance makes it easier for assistive technologies, such as screen readers, to interpret the content of the site.
