Anti-Stigma Sessions by See Me
See Me have developed Anti-Stigma Sessions showcasing some of the work that individuals, communities and partners are taking forward to reduce stigma and discrimination in Scotland through monthly online Anti-Stigma Sessions.
They share learning from projects and research across Scotland from See Me, volunteers, partners and supporters. They profile leaders in the anti-stigma space, sharing innovation and critical thinking, encouraging people to take action against stigma and featuring lived experience throughout.
These sessions are open to anyone with an interest in exploring mental health stigma and discrimination. This includes students, those who support students and staff in colleges, universities & students’ associations.
Upcoming session: Intersectional Mental Health Stigma in Scotland
- This session will introduce intersectional anti-stigma interventions as essential for reducing stark inequalities in mental health. They will share learning from developing and piloting intersectional anti-stigma materials over the last few years with a range of community, third and public sector partners.
