Creating Hope with Peer Support: new guide
Scottish Recovery Network have recently launched a new resource to help groups, organisations and services offer community base peer support as part of suicide prevention.
We know that many colleges, universities and students’ associations in Scotland are either already working on or are keen to develop their work around peer support and suicide prevention through their Student Mental Health Agreement work.
The resource has been co-designed with groups and organisations already delivering peer support, to further develop understanding of peer support in suicide prevention, and to enable the training of more people to facilitate and offer peer support to those affected by suicide.
The resource has been designed to be constantly evolving with shared learning from the people who are using it. Scottish Recovery Network would love to hear how you are getting on and any feedback or ideas you have. You will find their contact details in the resource.
