Exploring experiences of psychosis workshop
CAPS is an independent advocacy organisation. The main purpose of CAPS’ work is to assist people, through advocacy, as individuals or as members of a group, to set their own agenda, make their wishes known and to have a say in how they live and what services they use.
They are hosting a free workshop which will explore:
- What is psychosis?
- What does it mean to us?
- How does society respond to psychosis?
- What do we think about that?
This workshop is facilitated by people with lived experience of psychosis. They will be sharing perspectives about what psychosis is like from the inside, and inviting responses.
This is an opportunity for shared learning and discussion for anyone interested in hearing from people what it’s like to experience psychosis. This could include staff supporting students in college, university and students’ association settings.
This event is being held by the members of the Experiences of Psychosis Collective Advocacy group, facilitated by CAPS Independent Advocacy service.
