The Glasgow School of Art has an excellent record of providing specialist support services that complement and underpin the core provision available through the academic departments.
What Support is Available?
- Disability support such as the opportunity to discuss individual support needs and agree reasonable adjustments, access to specialist support, completion of learning support plans and support to apply for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
- Learning Support such as study skills support, disability support, mentoring, English language support, learning workshops and resources.
- Welfare support such as advice and guidance related to visa, immigration, student funding i.e. discretionary, scholarship and childcare.
- Access to counselling and mental health support on an individual and group basis.
