Student loneliness & social isolation: Research informed projects
In June, QAA Scotland welcomed over 300 delegates to ‘Shaping the Student Experience Together: 20 Years of Enhancement’, their 5th International Enhancement Conference.
The conference had many plenaries which offered delegates the opportunity to talk about issues and topics that significantly impact the student learning experience.
Under the sector-wide Enhancement Theme ‘Resilient Learning Communities’, the work undertaken by staff at Queen Margaret University aimed to better understand the experiences of loneliness and social isolation amongst QMU students during COVID-19.
This presentation covers key findings and explores next steps with a focus on coping and resilience.
