At the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) we will give you the practical, emotional, and learning support you need to fulfil your potential throughout your studies.
As well as the support services available to you, you will find a friendly and welcoming community at RCS. The Royal Conservatoire is a special place and one where we are sure you will flourish and feel support so that you can rise to the challenges and demands of your programme.
What Support is Available?
- Counselling service – team of seven counsellors.
- Togetherall – On-line support available 24/7. Log in with an RCS email address.
We have a team of seven counsellors, five available both on-line and in-person and two available on-line only. The Counselling Team aims to reflect the student body in terms of ethnicity, gender, LBGT+ and disability. The counsellors offer person-centred counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Integrative therapy and counselling in British Sign Language (BSL).

The Counselling Service is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm; evening and weekend counselling is available on request.
