What is this space for?
• An online platform for SMHA project participants across Scotland to share what they’ve been up to with each other.
• Offer a supportive space to share ideas, discuss challenges and opportunities.
• Learn from each other and scheduled guest speakers.
Less Admin, More Impact: Get the Most from the SMHA Self-Evaluation.
You’re already doing brilliant work to support student mental health, this session is about making sure it gets seen and can be learned from. Join Callum for a practical walk-through of the SMHA Self-Evaluation, designed to help you capture your impact in a way that feels meaningful rather than burdensome.
We’ll explore how the Self-Evaluation can do double duty: as a reporting tool, and as a way to tell the story of your work, validate what you’re already doing well, and spark ideas by learning how others across Scotland are approaching the same challenges. Whether you find the Self-Evaluation straightforward or quietly dread it, this session is for you.
What we’ll cover:
- A guided walk-through of the SMHA Self-Evaluation
- How to use it to capture the day-to-day of your work that often goes unrecorded and missed
- Recognising and validating innovative practice you might be underselling
What you’ll leave with:
- A clearer sense of how to complete the Self-Evaluation in a way that reflects your real work
- Practical language for describing your impact
- Ideas and peer learning from across the sector
