Save Our Counsellors Campaign
In 2019 following lobbying from NUS Scotland, Scottish Government committed to funding an additional 80 counsellors in Scotland’s colleges and universities over four years.
Currently, this funding is being reviewed and not confirmed past July 2023.
In response to this, and feedback from it’s members NUS Scotland have launched their ‘Save Our Counsellors’ campaign.
Think Positive research and the Thriving Learners College and University studies have shown that this support is very much needed.
